Flash, micro, nano

April’s workshop was ably presented by Roger Noons. He introduced us to the increasingly-popular form that is flash fiction. Roger’s talk was lively and inspiring. He provided us with much information about outlets for flash lovers, like Cafe Lit and Paragraph Planet. Many prestigious writing competitions now include this category and with good reason. It is both a skilful and fun means of improving your understanding of the English language, often presenting an opportunity to keep your reader in the dark until the last sentence. Thank you Roger, so glad I’ve been able to limit this to one hundred words.
